hi all
hello everyone;
i have been thinking to be an electrician for long time, actually i am an IT staff but working at another work not related IT at all, anyway,
though i never worked at this sector(electrician), i have a strong background because i am interested electric DIY since i started high school in 1988 and continued at university as well,
so actually i have already known much about electricity, cabling, mostly theory.
i am 35 yo and i am thinking to attend a course to start my electrician career but i dont trust those intensive 5 days or a few weeks courses eventhough i already am familiar with most of electric stuff.
am i too old to start?
does it worth to start?
any genuine courses that i can start?
is it possbile to work part-time just for 1 day since i need to work at my current place to survive?
i apologize if i made any grammar mistakes since i am not an english !!!!
thank you...

Re: hi all
Welcome to the forum.
The electrical industry is in a pretty poor state right now so maybe not the best time for a career change.
Having said that it can and will only get better so maybe now is the time.
