    Default Joining,Napit or the Niceic or ?

    I m going through the process of taking that big leap to become self employed. My question' s are which body do I join, (value for money),and what does it entail with each of the differant bodys.

    They are all pretty much of a muchness,,,,,you pay a yearly fee & another fee per notified job.
    If you have paid your fee they kindly send an area engineer out once a year to check up that you haven't forgotten in the interveening year between assessments how to do your job safely & test & certificate your work.

    What you need to ask yourself is which of the scam providers do joe public know.

    Most of joe public don't care who you are with as long as they get the cert!

    Having said that, am now joining NIC as it is 'favoured' by many councils
